Since 2003 chelmsford conservatives have run the City Council. We are a united group of local residents and have made chelmsford one of the best places in which to live, work and play in England.

Essex County Council are responsible for our libraries and the Chelmsford City Councillors (who are pictured) will be supporting efforts to involve the local community in both shaping and delivering future library provision in the City, with particular focus on tier 3 and 4 libraries. 

Chelmsford Conservative City Councillors are pleased to have pushed forward plans for a new play area in Central Park, Viaduct Road.

A major policy document formalising where 14,000 homes should be built in the next 18 years was given the green light.

At an official ceremony during a full council meeting yesterday (Wednesday 16 May), Councillor Yvonne Spence and her husband John began their term as mayor and mayor’s consort of Chelmsford for 2018 – 2019.
