Broomfield and The Walthams

The Broomfield and the Walthams ward lies in the north of the City. It incorporates Howe Street, Ford End, North End and both Great and Little Waltham.

It has a population of 8,063 (as at the 2011 Census) and 6,476 electors. The ward is represented by two Conservative Councillors and one Liberal Democrat Councillor. The Conservative Councillors are:

  • Mike Steel

The Member of Parliament is Kemi Badenoch. Kemi Badenoch is the Member of Parliament for the North West Essex Constituency and the current Leader of the Conservative Party, the Leader of the Opposition and the Shadow Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
