Paying for parking at Hylands started on Monday 8th November  and residents now have to pay £3 a time for two hours parking. Despite your Conservative  Councillors mounting a huge campaign to stop the Lib Dems charging you for using  your own park they have ignored this and  gone ahead  with this very un-Liberal plan.

Conservative Councillors have been speaking to local residents and they are almost unanimous in wanting to get the charges removed and said “How can  the Lib Dems penalise those most in need during this terrible pandemic? Has their Leader been too busy  being both a County Councillor and Leader of the City Council to listen to the public?”

All over the City residents have made their views known but  on top of increasing charges at the Crematorium the Lib Dems have said “ We need the money”. This shows that after many years of a Conservative administration that never borrowed a penny they are running out of cash.
