City Councillors

Cllr Simon Cook

I am determined to be a positive influence and with three generations of my family living in Chelmsford it really matters to me what is done and why.

Cllr Sameh Hindi

I have lived in Moulsham for over 30 years and have always campaigned to keep the council tax down and deliver the best services. I have also successfully campaigned and safeguarded the retention of the full Bus Pass for pensioners.

Cllr Ashley John

Keen to improve our community well-being I have served as a South Woodham Ferrers Town Councillor since 2006, and as Chelmsford City Councillor since 2011, and I seek to continue supporting and leading on local initiatives.

Cllr Richard Poulter

I have served as a City Councillor for the last seventeen years.  I believe passionately that local councillors should be available to help their communities and local residents with local problems.

Cllr Christine Garrett

I have lived in Great Baddow for 43 years and have two grown up sons and two grandchildren.  Both my sons were educated locally at Sandon School, and during that time I served as Deputy Chairman of Governors.

Now retired, I held various administrative roles in Chelmsford and London.

Cllr Lance Millane

I have lived in Runwell since 1999 and has been a long established Ward Councillor for Runwell & Rettendon.

Cllr David Stevenson

Living in Galleywood since 1975, David was a founder member of the Parish council. In 2015 he received a long service award, over 25 years as Chelmsford City councillor

Jon de Vries

I have lived in Chelmsford my entire life and on Patching Hall ward since 1984. I am a strong believer in family values and caring for the vulnerable members of our community. I spent over 32 years as a Police Office mainly in the front line, retiring in 2013.
