Mayor Bob Massey

Mayor - Chelmsford
City Councillor - South Woodham - Chetwood and Collingwood

I’m an Essex Boy, born and bred. I was born in Billericay and grew up in Havering, attending school in Romford.
I moved to South Woodham Ferrers in 1986.

I’ve been honoured to serve the residents of Chetwood Ward on SWF Town Council since 1988 (with a couple of short breaks when work forced me to work away from home), I’ve represented the residents of Chetwood & Collingwood Ward at Chelmsford City Council since 2011, and the Town of South Woodham Ferrers at Essex County Council since 2017.

At Chelmsford City Council I have Cabinet responsibility for Parks & Green Spaces and Bereavement Services.
