Cllr Lance Millane

Lance Millane has lived in Runwell since 1999 and has been a long established Ward Councillor for Runwell & Rettendon.


First elected to Chelmsford Borough (now City) Council in 2007 he immediately became a member of the Planning Committee he has also spent time on Audit & DPC. Lance is currently the Chairman of the City Council’s Licensing & Regulatory Committee, a post he has held for some years and still serves on Planning.


Lance began his career as a Draughtsman. He spent some 25 years working in the fashion industry as a Sales Director & owned his own company. He has also spent over 16 years working for a well established Property and Estate company.


Lance has travelled on business throughout Europe, Turkey and Hong Kong where he gained a wealth of experience working with different people and cultures.


During his time as a Ward Councillor he has gained much local knowledge of Runwell, Rettendon and the surrounding areas is passionate about local issues and committed to positive change that will benefit the community. 


With his colleague Ray Ride Lance is proud to have achieved many positive outcomes for local residents & continues to work energetically for the local community.

Nicolette Chambers has lived in Chelmsford Rural West for many years. She was elected to Chelmsford Borough Council in 2003.  For the last eight years Nicolette has served on the Planning committee, Development Policy committee, the Constitution Panel and the Standards committee.
